Michigan Vacation-2nd Full Day

It was 52 degrees this morning around 9am. A huge storm is in the process of passing thru west MI at the moment. It hit about 11pm last night. They were expecting 60 mile an hour winds and at Lake MI, they were expecting the waves to crest @ 12 feet. Tons of branches fell during the night so sleep was pretty interrupted! It was pretty wild today being out and about!
This is downtown Holland. We hit a few of our favorite stores and grabbed lunch down there. Holland is a very quaint college town and summer touristy area.

We had lunch at "84 East". Mom and I had wonderful salads and Dad had spagetti pie with a meatball!

Tin Ceiling is a wonderful little shop with tons of Scandinavian items. It's a must stop when I am in town.

This is a cute little park in downtown. Alot like the people sculptures in downtown Mesa.

Here we are out at the lake. Ottawa Beach Road was just jammed with cars getting into the state park to see Lake Michigan. As we were driving down the road we could see a line of cars waiting to get in just the way we were. Everyone was excited to see 12 ft waves.
