I was busy today making 128 Lucia buns. I have committed myself every year, for around 25 years, to bring in rolls and cookies to share with my coworkers. Up until about 5 years ago, along with the rolls, I made around 8 dozen ea of about 20 different kinds of Christmas cookies to bring in as well. I started right after Thanksgiving and baked up until Dec 13th! I am getting too "old" for this now and I don't want those cookies in my house to tempt me! So my celebration at work will include just Lucia buns and Danish Kringle. Seeing that the 13th is on Saturday this year, I baked today and will put in the freezer, to be pulled out Thursday night and frosted. And then brought to work on Friday! The house smelled so good today with the cardamom from the rolls and the roast in the crock pot!

Yummmmmmm. They look wonderful. I know how delicious they are too. I can smell the yeast and cardamon in my imagination!!
